The Book of Hosea    In your book, isn't it a sacrilege to twist the words of the prophets or use crude parodies of their words merely to fulfill
your own designs, in this case pointing your accusing finger at the current regime and saying that it is a case of the kettle
calling the pot black?      If you are mostly concerned with saving the skin/s of some of the most corrupt cream of the former regime/s then you are well
advised to start singing this song and if you are also concerned about absolute Justice, what Wole Soyinka  could deem is 
retributive justice, and you surely know that there's no smoke  without fire, you could then take some consolation
 in Johnny Cochran saying "If it doesn't fit, you must acquit!" - 

i.e. if the evidence on the the Goodluck Jonathan regime is still fresh and is plentifully available, 
if the glove doesn't fit, then what is there for him or her to worry about? That the judges are also corrupt?
 That the money – the root of all evil is also corrupt? Are you not feeling any empathy with the poor, 
long-suffering people of Nigeria?    As far as I can understand, the words you quoted apply to all under the immediate purview, 
i.e. former administrations are not exempt from that purview and we should hope, that neither are they
supposed to go scot free with all their loot, if indeed they have looted.    You would like Justice (all of it) to be delivered all at once, at one and the same time. 
You are pointing to what you believe to be selective justice, all over again. 
Well IBK has answered your distress for once and all, that the remainder going back to 1966,
a convenient point at which to begin. Vengeance is MINE, saith the Lord - so the remainder – who 
have not been attended to in this life will have to watch, pray and wait for the rest of their punishment,
in the everlasting fire
