Well for sure the general is also concerned about the wanton use of little girls as suicide bombers by the Shekau faction.
Each of these factions is as deadly and repulsive as the next.
That ISIS appointed one al-Barnawi as the new leader of Boko Haram, against the wishes of the Shekau faction, is a new twist in
the bloody saga. Is ISIL trying to build a corridor between its new bases in Libya and Nigeria?

There are reports of a split within Boko Haram over the issue of the affiliation to the Islamic State. Perhaps this is part of that split.
