This morning, when I told my son the story that in a certain African country someone had branded the president's name on both sides of his dog and had been found guilty of parading the dog in the city, his only response was, " Did he survive to to tell what actually happened?"
In this case even the Nigerianised Americans and Europeans and their Americanised and Europeanised Nigerian counterparts who want to hold Nigeria to the same standards as in the West, cannot claim to be disappointed in the law.
I can't imagine dressing up my dog here in Sweden and branding my neighbour's surname or the prime minister of Sweden or some hated politician's surname on man's best friend, and parading the dog in down town Stockholm or in my immediate neighbourhood, in the name of Human Rights and Freedom of Speec...
Mankind has been drinking milk for thousands of years and it's only now that the experts are telling us that milk – at least too much of it, is dangerous:; next they'll be telling us that it's milk that has been mostly killing us.
