It would be enlightening to get a serious discussion from a group of scholars like this one, many of whom are Black people living in the US, on the epidemic of Black killings by police, 'epidemic' being used in elastic terms here to suggest a rapid escalation of deaths, often emerging in what look like circumstances unrelated to the context in which this escalation takes place, Black people being killed on a practically monthly basis by police even when they are clearly non-threatening or even when incapacitated.

Have you ever pondered why white police men find it rather easy to kill black men? Upon the slightest confrontation with black folks white police men pull their service pistols and shoot black men to death. It is as if they feel that they have a right to kill black men.
Apparently, in their primitive minds they believe that God gave them the right to kill black folks. Alternatively, they believe that their racist society gave them the right to kill black men.
It is as if they believe that killing black men have no existential and social consequences for them, that they would not pay a price (such as go to hell) or be socially punished.
This people kill black people with more ease than people kill flies. This is truly amazing! And we are not talking about the ease with which their judges and courts put black men into jails and prisons. The slightest crime and black men are sent to jails or prisons and for similar crimes white men are merely slapped on their wrists.
As we speak, over two million Americans are in jails and prisons (in the world, America has the highest proportion of her people incarcerated), the majority of them black and Latino folk.
The country spends over $35, 000 annually keeping each inmate in prison; such money could have been better spent giving all Americans publicly paid health insurance or providing all young Americans with publicly paid education K through university.
The country is literally bankrupting itself keeping its minority population locked up in jails and prisons.
I am supposing that they figure that the benefit outweighs the cost; the benefit is to disenfranchise black men for if you have a prison record you would no longer participate in politics, not even voting, and that way only white folks are allowed to keep on ruling the country.
Do white Americans really believe that the rest of the world cheers them on for killing and unnecessarily imprisoning black people?
Actually, they are increasingly seen as savages. So let them keep doing it until it gets to a point that when you say that you are a white American people spit at you and call you a primitive savage.
To be civilized is to respect human life not to take it so easily. Where on God's earth did these things get the idea that life should be taken so easily?
And how did they come to believe that black folks would just sit back and cheer them on to go on killing black people?
Perhaps, they believe that black folks have been so intimidated and terrorized by their racist society that they would easily take being killed without complaint?
Or are they impressed by the strength of the US military, especially its nuclear weapons? Nuclear weapons are worthless. If you use them in America both white and black people die so you are not going to use them or use them only if you are suicidal. Radical Muslim Jihadists have already learned the lesson that possessing nuclear weapons is not worth shit for you are not going to use them unless you want to die hence they attack Americans and Europeans in their own countries. They know that you cannot use the bloody nuclear weapons on them so they do not take them into consideration in making their calculations.
Having the most powerful military on earth will not help you one bit if you generate riots and revolution in America.
An empire is generally brought down when there is a confluence of external and internal attackers. Bigoted white police men have been working overtime trying to get black Americans to engage in domestic rebellion. If that internal rebellion is added to the external attacks by radical Muslim jihadists (plus the inevitable attacks by Asians trying to assuage Americans using nuclear weapons on Japan in 1945...oh, Asians have not forgotten that little injustice of using nuclear weapons on them but not on European Germans), well, if America has internal and external attacks its resources would be devoted to fighting them off and it is only a matter of time before another empire bites the dust.
The white police shooters always say that their lives were endangered and that is why they shoot to kill, that they were protecting their lives (their lives are more important than black lives, of course).
Are police men not supposed to be courageous folks? Is shooting to kill the sign of courage and power? Does a courageous person find it easy to kill an innocent and unarmed human being?
Of course, if one's life is threatened one has a right to defend one's self so killing in self-defense is universally accepted as justified homicide.
But is killing just because one is in fear also justified? Is not a fearful person a cowardly person? Why are white policemen mostly fearful persons hence cowards?
If they were courageous persons who valued human lives they would use psychological means to diffuse risky situations and not always resort to shooting to kill.
Much of the fear these people claim to have actually derives from their fear of black men in general. It is not that the specific black man they killed did anything to generate fear in them but that they are generally afraid of all black folks.
In their minds black folks are dangerous and therefore they fear them and shoot them upon the slightest excuse. Are black men dangerous? They are dangerous relative to white men?
Was it not white men who enslaved black men and used intimidation and terrorism to keep them slaves for several hundred years? And these white terrorists are less dangerous than black folks?
The other excuse given is that black folks are prone to criminality, really? Who are the greater criminal, white folks who came all the way from Europe to steal Native Americans lands or the misguided black youth who stole a pack of cigarettes from a white owned store? Give me a break, will you!
People project to others what is in them. White men are the most dangerous people on earth; they are predatory animals that need to be humanized. Apparently, that Christianity of theirs that they say asked them to love all people did not teach them love; we have to figure out other ways to teach these savages from the colds of Europe that a true human being loves all human beings and does not kill them.
And if the police must shoot at a threatening person why his head and heart, meant to kill, why not at the hand holding the weapon they believe is aimed at them, or at any other part of the body; why must they always shoot to kill?
Are they sadistic psychopaths who enjoy killing people or something? I would think that a human being must do all he can to avoid killing another human being. Just think of the consequences of cowardly police killing.
A cowardly police man has killed a black man at Charlotte, North Caronia. Riots have ensued. By the time everything calms down property in the millions of dollars, if not billions of dollars would have been destroyed; it costs money to pay for the National Guard called out by the governor to come intimidate the people into quiescence.
Is the cavalier attitude to human life of a cowardly police man worth costing the city of Charlotte millions of dollars?
And when all is said and done, the identified police man is probably not going to be retained in the police force. He will probably claim disability from stress and disappear from the scene. So, what exactly did he gain by killing a person? As it is, if he does not hide his person I bet you that some gang bangers may use him for target practice. The man may develop depression from guilt feeling and frequent bars to use alcohol to salve his guilty conscience and in a few years drink himself to death.
Why do white policemen find it easy to kill black folks? What is the matter with them, anyway? Do they not value human life? Do they think that they are God and created black lives and it is up to them to take black lives whenever they want to?
What exactly makes a human being feel justified in killing another human being? I know that even if you paid me all the money in the world I would not kill any human being, never, not even in self-defense, for my life is not worth the death of another human being. So, why do these police men do it?
