"Morocco invests in green mosques "Morocco will take vigorous action against climate emissions by making the country Mosques energy efficient. The aim in the long term is to cut down the energy cost by 40 percent 15,000 mosques in the country, on average consume 90 kWh per day. This includes CFLs and solar panels. 100 mosques will be energy-efficient by the end of the year and 600 by March 2019 in which the state pays 70 percent of investment cost in co-financing to Germany,according to The Guardian." These days, oil is cheap, but the year round, solar energy could be cheaper in producing POWER!
