"Religion is antithetical to invention." CAO
All general and generalized statements like this that are neither synthetic or analytic are false by their very nature because they seek to superintend all history past, present and future. A cursory investigation of history would tell a different story. Does all invention begin by questioning God? Which God; what religion?
"Religion" itself constitutes a conceptual trouble. What is the similarity/difference Buddhism and Christianity?

Religion is antithetical to invention. In invention you start by questioning God, in religion you do not do that. If for instance, God said that humans must walk, why should anybody contemplate building "a craft that would carry people and fly"?
