Agreed. But also happy to see denzel Washington up for the Oscar for best actor. He’ll have real competition from that fellow from Manchester by the Sea, casey Affleck, who gave a really outstanding performance. Denzel (who by the way came from my home town!) played it as theatre more than as cinema. It was a truly great dramatic performance.
