SV: USA Africa Dialogue Series - Re: Today's Quote

I thought you will mention Etiang Isong, Goodhead Dokubo or Swampmouth Besirime instead of Uche Okwukwu from Elele Alimini in the Ikwere part of Rivers State, where cases of Igbo abandoned properties as a result of the civil war are still pending in various courts in Rivers State.

With regards to MASSOB, it ordered all Igbo in Nigeria to return to Southeast in November 2015, which I think is the most sensible thing to do if they desired Igbo Republic.

www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/return-the.south-east-massob-tells-igbo/  Take note that MASSOB only addressed itself to  the Igbo and excluded the non-Igbo speaking people in South-South.

It is a misrepresentation of facts to regard Effiong's stated words in his book, Nigeria & Biafra: My Story, as an alleged comments. Was Effiong an alleged Biafran Major General and Second in Command to General Ojukwu?

What was Azikiwe's personal relationship with Ojukwu? What effect would their personal relationship have had over the fact that the Eastern Region Consultative Assembly, invented by Ojukwu the dictator, was undemocratically composed?

Uche Okwukwu from Elele Alimini in the Ikwerre part of Rivers state and other non Igbos were pioneer executive members of MASSOB. I do not know much about the executive formation of IPOB, but I was reliably informed that there are non Igbos in the executive.

As for Philip Effiong, we should be assessing the man's comments based on the prevailing circumstances when the alleged comments were made.

Most of Zik's comments about Biafra should also be situated in the context of his well known personal relationship with Ojukwu.
