By Chidi Anthony Opara
"Our nation first!"
The trumpeter trumpeted during the race.
The race was won
And the trumpeter became bored.
From Somewhere
Deadly chemicals dropped.
The masses died,
The half-dead moaned in pain.
The trumpeter trumpets
A new tune to ease the boredom,
The bombs rain.
