Yes, going forward - and based on the tendency of Nigerians to read politics into all statements - it will be wise for the Presidency to adopt a routine set of simple and concise statements for this kind of transfer of power : one for annual vacation, for medical vacation, for impeachment, for incapacity certification, for resignation and - God forbid - for death.
PYO is unambiguously the Acting President, with the full mantle of the President. It will however be wise for him always to be in touch with the elected President.
