I am sick and tired of the "Heavens-help-those-who-don't-help-themselves" mentality of my people. Finally, someone is hitting the iron when it is hot and (the iron) getting used to being hot and never hit! Haba, all those anthropomorphic lingos of "Dia ris God o," "God dey," "Oloun kuku n be," "Oloun a dajo," "O y'Oloun sha," "it is well," ad infinitum, as if that God would descend one day with some magic wand and solve all the man-made problems of Nigeria and Nigerians should nauseate any right thinking mind, big time. Thanks, jare, Mr. Vice-President (or is it Acting President?).  Let's see if this is a call to action or just another dream of the dog - conceived of, and dies right in the bosom of the dog. I hope for the former.
