What is undemo ratic about zoninng? How would you approach the problem of ensuring ethnic equity yourself?
By the way I agree good speeches should be matched by good accountability but it is not necessarily one or the other.

There is no shortage of good speeches in Nigeria, unfortunately, these good speeches do not go hand in hand with good governance.
Osibanjo's class rides to power on the back of ethnicity. The position of Vice-presidential candidate was zoned to Osibanjo's Yoruba ethnic nationalility by his party in 2015, an undemocratic action that cleared the way for only Osibanjo and members of the party of Yoruba stock to contest as Vice-president in the 2015 presidential election.
My point is that fine speeches should go hand in hand with good governance, our leaders should walk their talks and the led will surely follow.
