The living authority on Yoruba Ijaala is Bade Ajuwon. I'm pretty sure you should be able to get some of his works in libraries (SOAS, etc) in England. I believe Professor Ajuwon still lives in Nigeria (Ile-Ife or Oyo). If you are in touch with Professor Wande Abimbola, he might give you more information on Ijaala (and/or Professor Ajuwon).
