The Christian Association of Nigeria ( CAN) may have the Divine Mandate in requesting that others repent but to my own ears , the call to Jihadists "to shut out Islam from Nigeria" is perfectly absurd and sounds like a heinous crime. Why should a Muslim want to " shut out " Islam from Nigeria? The Christian Association of Nigeria is obviously shuffering from communications problem ( CP) and this can be expounded and extinguished later.DAWAH will continue. I will take the matter up when the servant of Ogun, returns to the forum. I will choose my words very carefully.

The second headline and subsequent narrative gives the impression that there is a Jihad programme to islamize the whole of Nigeria. By Jihad the author means a few minor skirmishes with a few Fulani Herdsmen. That is not Jihad my friend. If there was JIHAD, you wouldn't be writing like this. Keep in mind that more than half of Nigeria is already Islamized and this could whet the appetite of the ambitious proselytising Muslims to work more assiduously to get the other half to follow in the footsteps of the Last Prophet. Furthermore, to the North, the North-East and the North-West, Nigeria is completely surrounded by Islamic populations. In addition, there are tens of millions of Muslims in the South, in the West and true too, Islam is spreading South (wards) faster than the Sahara desert. The only thing that is holding Islam back is its prohibition on alcohol and secondly, if the daily prayers were to be reduced from five to two, or just one or to just Zikr i qalb - " pray always" ( be conscious of God at all times) then despite desperate, well -financed Christian missions, Islam would conquer 25% more of the Congo within a very short time. But Islam is five times a day, no alcohol and a constant jihad against the NAFS….
This could be another instance of "fools rush in where angels fear to tread" but It is difficult to determine exactly who are the fools in this instance, "the Christian Thought leaders" ( the clergy? ) or the islamizationists ( in this case those who Nandi accuses have the no good intention to spread and establish Islam in Nigeria with violence i.e. by the much feared Islamic sword. The old crusader propaganda that Islam was spread by the sword was roundly debunked by Thomas Carlyle two centuries ago but still persists up to this nuclear age and today above all the Crusaders' greatest fear is the coming age of "the Islamic nuclear bomb " - such as those owned by Pakistan - and they thank God that India is just across the border, so that Pakistan can think no further but still fear as told here the terrible consequence if those weapons should fall into the hands of terrorists or sympathizers with the Taliban, their ultimate nightmare of course that no- nonsense Iran should have one ( they = USA, Israel & their new bedfellows, Saudi Arabia) - the latter not that smart to depend on non- Muslims to protect Mecca and Medina ( god forbid) from being reduced to rubble ( their ultimate aim
I understand Toyin Adepoju's ultimate spiritual nightmare is of course that Boko Haram should acquire nuclear weapons or at least a few dirty bombs with which to help establish the Caliphate in the North and, God willing, the Islamic Republic of Nigeria, stretching from Sokoto in the North West to Port Harcourt in the South East, and encompassing , North to South, East to West, every piece of territory in between: We would then at least have unity - if not of tribe al least of religion and probably have to convene another debate in Maiduguri or Baghdad to ascertain whether the Mhadab should be Jaafari or Sunni……
Uniformity in religion and by consensus and consent of those so willingly governed should ideally provide cohesion, unity , as the faithful attain to a sense of nationhood, national dignity, belonging

Mr. Nnadi has aptly described the gullible stance of Christian thought leaders in Nigeria as naive because of their penchant to speak of Islamization of the country as a remote possibility even though the process has been ongoing for more than half century or even more. Subscription of Nigeria, as a sovereign entity, into organizations meant only for Muslim countries, adoption of Sharia by 12 states of the North, ethnic cleansing of Christian territories in Middle Belt and Southern regions through heavily armed Fulani herdsmen militia and land grab by the murderous Boko Haram Islamist terror group all bear the hallmarks of forced conversion to the Islamic faith or death.
That the recent communique issued by the meeting of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) leadership in Lagos still mentions the menace of forced Islamization as a casual matter for the incumbent president and his administration to consider looking into portrays either lack of seriousness or crass naivete. It could also be informed by ill-informed disposition to underestimate the impact being made by the surreptitious maneuvers being made at every level of governance at the center to entrust sensitive security, diplomatic and financial institutions in hands of Caliphate-loyal Northern Muslims.
The LNC chief scribe, who is also a practicing lawyer, has repeatedly asserted that post-Independence Nigeria died a natural death when the five constitutions that defined the First Republic's federation were trashed and the constituent federating entities arbitrarily balkanized into 12 subunits through the so-called state-creation exercise of May 27, 1967. Without the mutually agreed federating constitutions of the immediate post-Independence era, the citizenry have instead been herded into vassal states and constrained with an imposed 1999 Constitution which was unilaterally written and decreed into force by one of the scions of the Sokoto Islamic Caliphate, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, before he left the pinnacle of power at Abuja on May 29, 1999. The fraudulent 1999 Constitution is the joker card in the strategic arsenal of Islamization-jihad warriors who truly believe that they own every square inch of today's Nigeria as a gift from Allah.
