My People:
I am always amused when people argue over public documents, which are available to everybody.
An example is the ongoing debate about how much debt my Ekiti State has inherited since the new administration of Governor Ayo Fayose took over in October 2014 from former Governor Kayode Fayemi. Eg
But cearly, from the Debt Management Office DMO website, many URLs of which I provide below:
(1) External Debt Increase for Ekiti State between 30th June 2014 and 30th June 2017: $19,182,240.79
(2) Domestic Debt Increase for Ekiti State between 31st December 2014 and December 31, 2016: N54,589,043,940.10
Now if an increase C (= A - B) is disputed, it must mean that either A or B or both are disputed. In this case, Fayemi can dispute DMO's B figure, while Fayose can dispute DMO's A figure. All three of them can lock themselves in a room, and come out with a resolution that leaves us common citizens fully informed on who is deceiving who.
And there you have it!
