The Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode has on Thursday signed a bill making the usage and teaching of Yoruba compulsory in schools across the state.
It is called the Yoruba Language Preservation and Promotion Law. He also signed six other important bills in a bid to consolidate his government's service delivery.
