Dear Prof Falola, the great one!

 

I would like to start by thanking you for sharing your daughter interview with me. It answers some of the questions one would like to ask you, but time and opportunities do not always come by to allow me to get these types of practical guidance on how to be successful professional  and great family man.

 

  Through this interview I learn how to try and be efficient at work without forgetting the family. How to stay in touch even when away, just by sending a post card home.  Educate my kids, infusing great values in them while remaining present and relevant at work. Taking the kids to the library which many of us  don't do, yet it is key in shaping their love for books, studies and knowledge and turn them into future leaders.  Again, asking a child if they want be a "B" child in life is so profound.

 

Another lesson I get from this is the secret of professional success when you said. "You will never get bored  by your job and it will never feel like a job if it is something that you like". This is great to hear. Furthermore, your ability to combining your passions with your strength is the reason of your children success in their professions. I love this as well because, not only we are strong for ourselves, but also for our family as a whole.

 

Through you , I want to thank and congratulate your daughter for the great interview. She is indeed Prof TF's daughter.

 

In fact, I am writing from office where I came to do some work, but I will go home immediately after this email, because this interview touched me so profoundly. My 10 years old Dave has an assignment/projet at School to talk about his role model.  This entails telling his role model's story from childhood, primary school, high school up till his or her professional career. I was told by my wife that my son says I am his role model and wanted to consult me to deal with his project, and I so far I did not have a chance to discuss with Dave. So after hearing from your  daughter,  I am on my way home to listen to my boy and complete his assignment about me his role model. This is to tell you how powerful your email was on me. So, this is not just an interview, but a practical guidance for life.  Thank you so much for sending it to me.
