Keep it professional. Invite other young stars to join the mentorship. Hold the open mic in a public place for them to share their work in progress and receive constructive criticism from their peers. As a teacher, some mentees may still have grudges against you; teach and learn anyway for the love of poetry. Each one teach one, said Azikiwe, the poet Founding Father.
