Edwin Madunagu in this write up has written as a pragmatic and clear thinking Leftist. Although he is still stuck in anachronistic Marxist usages as ' shop floor in an economy that is far more diversified than the 19th century model he unlike others realizes that the Left like other political formations is not monolithic and that Leftism itself is a site of struggle for the nations heart and soul as a continuum and that no formation can be taken for granted.
Thus any one ( or group) within the Left can be the site of Left oriented programmes which they constitute into single issue parties like the Green Party in Europe e.g. Restructuring Party and seek left leaning backers to fight the 2019 elections on that platform.
This is far better and nobler than heaping abuse on Leftists within the ranks of the dominant parties as traitors or threatening armed struggle or covertly supporting military takeovers. This is how democracy works and is entrenched: levelling and forever expanding the field of play.
