i just learned that frank ukadike died in nigeria. no other news about his passing. we all in african cinema owe a large debt of gratitude to frank for his work which, i would say, is probably the most cited of all for african cinema. i couldn't think about what african cinema is without entering into a dialogue with frank. he was a wonderfully warm man, with a ready smile and laugh. i send my condolences to his family, and invite all of us to share in this moment to mourn his passing.
