A quick response to a Facebook posting in which I was tagged, about Melania Trump's proposed visit to Africa :
Considering Trump's ultra" America First" agenda ,we shouldn't expect Trump to be more genuinely enthusiastic about Africa or Obamacare, than Brother Obama was. Concerning any humble self-glorification taking "partial credit" for Melania Trump shuffling her feet in the direction of anywhere in Africa, there's the saying that "Pride goes before a fall" and for even those who have no pride at all, from that point of view (the "boy-boy" beggar's mentality) it shouldn't hurt too much that there are lots of important men and women of all kinds of important colours out there – close to Trump their Messiah – maybe have his ear/ her ear - holding their noses to avoid the stench, doing their advocacy and hoping to turn his attention to their shit-hole countries. First Lady Melania's proposed visit to Africa reminds me of a prominent English politician's reaction to Russia's Valentina Tereshkova the first woman in space: he thought that it would be a good idea to send his wife away up there in space for a while...
