Before, during and immediately after the time of Bello, the North was presented and seen as monolithic, the Joseph Tarka and Aminu Kano skirmishes notwithstanding.
The North is no longer lagging behind other regions. The scenario of poverty, underdevelopment, etc, which you painted is not exclusive to the North.
Finally, let me remind you that the issue here is the comparability of Bello's and Buhari's "Arewacentrism", not about the North as an entity and/or an assessment of the developmental strides in the North.
