In the US and many countries of Europe, Judges have discretion to grant bail to any accused person depending on the severity of the offence and its negative consequences on the society as a whole. In the Scandinavia countries, anyone accused of heinous crime is kept behind the bars until the conclusion of the case, as they have no bailing system. In Nigeria, a person who committed treason by diverting appropriated funds for the purchase of arms to fight insurgents for private use was granted bail. Such could never have happened in the US or Europe, especially, when it is known that thousands of innocent Nigerians have been killed and two million Nigerians have become homeless because of the diversion of funds for arms to private pauses. In Europe and the US, Chief Justice Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghen would have been arrested and arraigned in court immediately after he had confessed to have criminally avoided declaring his assets according to the law. Moreover, the serious minded Americans and Europeans would have compelled him to disclose sources of the huge national and foreign currencies found in his accounts at various banks. In Europe and the US, administrative procedure is never allowed to take precedence over criminal matters. In Europe and the US, all accused persons, namely murderers caught at the scenes of murders, are presumed innocent until they are pronounced guilty by the court of law but they are never granted bails as the corrupt Nigerian Judges do after collecting bribes. Why are cases of treasury looters adjourned sine die after granting them bails? It is because neither the looters nor the Judges are interested in concluding cases. Ending this response to you, it was a politicized media trial and hearsay when James Onanefe Ibori was discharged and acquitted, by Justice Marcell Awokulehin, of stealing and laundering two-hundred and sixty-five million pounds sterling (£265 million) belonging to Delta State during his tenure as Governor (1999-2007). However, the politicized media trial and hearsay of Ibori in Nigeria became real when he was extradited from Dubai to London when he confessed to having laundered in London the same amount of money stolen from Delta State treasury. He was convicted and sentenced to 12 years imprisonment. Politicized media trial and hearsay is the covert language of treasury looters in Nigeria.

".....then they should have reacted to the reckless abuse of judicial power in Nigeria where Judges grant bails to treasury looters and adjourned their cases sine die." (Salimonu Kadiri).
They would not do that because they believe in due processes. They believe that accused persons (not some, but all) are innocent until proven guilty in a court of competent jurisdiction. They do not believe in politicized media trials and hearsays.
