Toyin Falola Studies is a field of knowledge that consists in the exploration of the work and life of the polymathic scholar and writer Toyin Falola. It explores the reconfiguration of disciplines, the dynamism of cognitive maps, in their relationship with each other through the life journey of this scholar and writer.
The bird soaring over the structurations defining the landscape of human knowledge. What does the winged traveller see? How does he perceive the relationships between the various networks defining that field? What role does he play in restructuring these patterns? What is his part in shaping each domain that contributes to constituting the whole?
City history, ethnic history, national history, individual history, ideational history, diachonic, the movement of time, synchronic, the present moment, configurations-what was, what is and what may be- how may these converge in projecting a face to the world?
Ibadan, The Toyin Falola Reader, In Praise of Greatness, A Mouth Sweeter than Salt, Counting the Tiger's Teeth, among other journeyings in various fields by Falola, how may they help in exploring these questions?
