The crash of Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737- Max-8 aircraft, earlier today, is tragic. Some of the passengers on board were on their way to a UN Environmental Assembly in Nairobi. Crash victims include the protocol officer for the Prime Minister of Somalia, Shahaad Abdishakur, and Ugandan, Kenyan, Moroccan, Nigerian, Russian, Chinese, Indian, Spanish, US, Canadian citizens - among the 151 nationals of thirty six countries. There are no survivors.
Another Boeing 737 Max-8 aircraft crashed in Indonesia last year. Ethiopian Airlines is a highly respected airline, set up by Emperor Haile Selassie in the 1940s.
