USA Africa Dialogue Series - Making a Choice between Two Linguistic Imperialisms and the Headache of Anything-Goes

You must have noticed that I have been asking physicians to think of
healing themselves. One of my kinsmen put it indirectly, as I pointed
out in one blog post. He advised another herbalist who used to treat
and cure madness (and was disorderly at a village meeting): "When you
prepare the drug for patients next time, try to taste it before
administering it!"

So, over to you those who say "Use American or British English
spellings. What matters is consistency" Consistent linguistic
imperialism!
