This is risky, very risky. First, the author is , paradoxically
speaking, an insider that is an outsider, just like Esu Elegba who has
to stay outside and man the doorway. Second, we are talking of Esu, a
prankster divinity and should be very careful. Fools like me rush in
where angels of culture fear to walk. But it is only a learning
experience and we should not remain outsiders forever!
So, as Jesus Christ steps forth from the tomb, I want to rush in
confidently to reflect on the iconizations of Esu Elegba in Yoruba
culture. Abeg, I am only learning and willing to learn! More visuals
will be uploaded.
