"The June 12 struggle" was haphazardly organized and essentially, a Lagos event.
If it were not, when Babangida installed the Shonekan "Interim National Government"(ING)and left, and the court subsequently declared the ING illegal, the struggle would have been intensified and carried on, until an acceptable form of government is installed.
