Again Femi Segun, I implore you not to bear false witness. You should not base your judgment of people's behaviour on gossips or rumours. I love my neighbours as myself and by implication I love all human beings as myself. However, that does not mean I will condone the crime of any human being, if the victim of the crime is not a Nigerian. Right down in Nigeria, I can still remember how the English Colonialist stuck Merchant of Venice in our hands to read. Therein, we were indoctrinated with how the Jewish Shylock wanted to cut a pound of flesh near the heart of a debtor for repayment default. At that time we could not recognize a Jew if we met one, yet, through Merchant of Venice, we came to believe that the Jews are wicked people who could kill any human being because of money. Merchant of Venice was a fable just as the story Fulani herdsmen atrocities in Nigeria today. Like all ethnic groups in Nigeria, Fulani people also have criminals among them and as in all cases of crimes, the culprits must be arrested, identified, prosecuted and convicted in the court of law. Check these links for the illustration of false accusations against Fulani herdsmen. http://www.tori.lg/news/100533/fg-councillor-others-paraded-as-suspects-of-benue-killings.html
| The police on Tuesday paraded a serving councilor from Fidi Council Ward in Makurdi, Benue State, and seven others over their alleged involvement in the killings in some parts of the state. www.tori.ng |
| A Deputy Superintendent of Prisons in the Nigerian Prisons Service, has been apprehended by the Nigerian Police in Enugu for involvement in armed robbery. www.tori.ng |
When the killings in Plateau State towards the end of June 2018 were said to have been admitted by Miyetti Allah as a revenge mission by a section of the Nigerian media, the online Nigerian Vanguard reported that Operation Safe Haven had arrested 28 people concerning the killings in Plateau State. The Media Officer of the Operation, Major Adam Umar and the Police Public Relations Officer Mathias Tyopev referred to the arrested persons as criminals and not herdsmen. Isn't it mythical to you, if not an insulting to commonsense, that a herder grazing cows on the roadside committed murder and ran into the bush with his cows un-apprehended? Well, I am not a Minister of information on this forum and I do not participate in forum's discussions in order to be misinformed.

Again ogbeni Alagba Kadiri,
You have the right to be the Myetti Allah representative and Chukumereje's type of Minister of information on this Forum. But have you asked why this group of people, I mean the criminal element among them are the only one being singled out for this atrocity?

--Thank you Chidi for posting the link beneath. Let us reason together not just as Nigerians but as fellow human beings. This following excerpt from the link is worth thinking about. The spot (Kajola) where they killed Baba Fasoranti's daughter falls between Odigbo and Okitipupa Local Government territory. The people living close to the area said Fulani herdsmen had taken over the area and there was a time a Bishop was abducted and the police rescued him in that area.Herdsmen are all over the forest. We see them between Omotosho and Igbotako. They graze their cows on the road and strike and they run back to the bush.
How can people live close to the area where the *blood thirsty Fulani murderers* have taken over without getting murdered?
An abducted Bishop was said to have been rescued at a time by the police in the area. Did the police identify the abductors of the Bishop as herdsmen or Fulani herdsmen?
They (herdsmen) are all over the forest, according to the people living close to the area who also see herdsmen graze their cows on the road where they strike and run back to the bush. How fast would herdsmen have run with their cows back into the bush before being caught?
Besides the Jews of Europe, no ethnic group in human history has ever been subjected to fascist propaganda and persecution as Fulani people of Nigeria have been obliged to endure. The following link is more plausible to read about the crime of kidnapping in Nigeria. https://punchng.com/chilling-experiences-of-motorists-travellers-on-kidnapper-prone-highways/
Kidnappings on some highways across the country have reached a crescendo. CHUKWUDI AKASIKE and SIMON UTEBOR capture the shocking stories of some victims of this vicious crime Throughout the night ...S. Kadiri
