With all due respect, Prof., discussions on national issues should not be turned to personal and political attacks on individuals. 'Money speaks syndrome' did not start and thrive with the period you associated with Abati. If I recall rightly, the Military ceased power on January 15, 1966 as there were utter complaints of corruption and such cases as you described ...
On the 31st of December, 1993, Buhari as a soldier, said he came to fight corruption. Corruption and particularly 'money speaks syndrome' has been endemic in Nigeria. Therefore, anyone including Abati, that has the strength to write to condemn corruption is, to me, performing a national duty.
As it is sir, with all due respect, you and I lack the capacity to limit the number of people who can write on issues as endemic as corruption in Nigeria.
