Egbe Olope COMMENTS: Politicians used to be solutions to our problems, not the problems. They served us with total commitment. They shared our hospitals, churches and mosques while their children shared our children's schools. They didn't siren-scare us off the road if/when they and their families had to move-in fact they stopped and alighted their automobiles to greet us, shaking hands with us. We had governments in the true sense.
