You mean Buhari changed his mind after the uproar, even openly from some mostly southern APC members like the fresh marriage brouhaha insinuated/alleged in some quarters? Even Obasanjo denied seeking a third term when the heat was too much.
Jonathan failed to get a third term, showing that Nigerians are politically wise on some issues. He completed his first term with Yar'Adua and his own second tenure before being stopped in the bid for a third.
However, I commend Buhari for coming out early to deny it instead of wasting money on it.
