When people speak of the abuse of power in the current dispensation they limit it to the executive without contextualizing that the executive was trying to circumvent the ABUSE and bastardisation of liberalism and civil liberties many members of the JUDICIARY so as to get the will of the electorate done.
Did the executive as the former Chief Justice to be corrupt? While he was being removed all the bent logic some could muster was due process loopholes that was not afforded him to wriggle free. Do such people want a success of the anti corruption programme in all honesty?
However more intervention by civil society is welcome as ONGOING routine.
