His wife...
Love's language looks
beyond a couple's
greying crowns
and the bones that have seen
endless romance
The entangled heart
unceasingly thumps
the ballad of ages
that traces the grace
in the wrinkled face
and twirls the rigid waist
to the sound of music.
When my wife
celebrates her birthday
everything that had been said
will be adorned with new meanings,
and old words will receive
wings and sneak a new path
into the aweful heart
of the one I keep loving.
