In part 1, I perused records of history to show how the world has brutally been built on uneven globalism in which the prosperity of Western Europe and the US has always depended on their powers to dominate, suppress and exploit Black Africans and the resources of Africa. Since the first contact between Africans and Western Europeans (including one of her powerful extensions, the USA) the relation has, up till today, been that of the enslaved and the enslavers. The civilised Western World in their dealings with Black Africans has always proclaimed the jungle law of the survival of the fittest. Let's look at the origin of the ideology of the survival of the fittest on which the Western World justify their claim to cannibalise economically on Black Africans.
Ninety-one years before Adolf Hitler was born (1889), Thomas Robert Malthus, a priest and an economist employed by the British India Company wrote in 1798 what he termed "An Essay on the Principle of Population." Therein, he proposed that the society should help to accomplish higher mortality rates instead of waiting for nature or disaster because, according to him, population tends to increase faster than food supply. By the beginning of the 20th century, Malthusian economic ideology of limiting procreation to a chosen few had become an accepted trend among intellectuals in *civilized western world.* Nowadays, history is presented to us as if political and economic racism originated in Hitler's Germany which is dishonest and untrue. Joseph Arthur de Gobineau was not a German but a French Count, a Diplomat and a history Philosopher. He died in 1882, seven years before Adolf Hitler was born but he authored an essay on inequality between races on which Nazi German racial doctrine took roots. Forty-one years after Joseph Arthur Gobineau was born, the Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court, Chief Justice Roger B. Taney, delivered an epochal judgment on 6 March 1857, in a suit of assault filed by a Black American, Dred Scott, against a White American, John F. A. Stanford. Dred Scott had asked the Court to decide whether the Negro was a chattel property and, therefore, had no rights as a human being. Announcing the decision of the Court, Chief Justice Taney said, "A Negro has no rights which a white man need respect." The Court declared that in the meaning of the words "people of the United States," in the Constitution, Negroes were not included in the people of the United States. For the rationalists who may think that was many years ago and will quickly point to the fact that Barack Obama was US president for eight years, they should be reminded that Obama was forced to identify himself as African American, even though there was little or no benefit to Black Americans or Black Africans during his eight years tenure. They also need to be reminded, to mention few, that Jimmy Carter, Ronald Regan, George Bush, Bil Clinton, Hilary Clinton, Ronald Trump etc., are never identified as European Americans but simply Americans. Although the emancipation's proclamation freeing slaves in the USA was issued in 1863 and ratified in 1865, African Americans never ceased to be treated as sub-humans in the USA. Thus, when the *Station for Experimental Evolution* was founded in the US, in 1904, with funds from wealthy aristocrats like Andrew Carnegie, Cornelius Vanderbilt, J.P. Morgan and John D. Rockefeller, it was for the purpose of pruning down the population growth of the African Americans (the Negroes). Consequent to that Negroid Americans were already being forcibly and routinely sterilised in 1907 even though sterilisation law was not enacted in the US until 1921. In 1910, Mrs. E.H. Harriman donated 300,000 dollars and 80 acres of land at Cold Spring Harbour, Long Island, to the Station for Experimental Evolution, for the purpose of establishing Eugenics Records Office. Eugenics otherwise known as racial biology was about selective breeding within the human race. Before World War II, eugenicists ( racial biologists) held international conferences to discuss means of restricting procreation to selected people. Such was the Third International Conference of Eugenics, held in New York in 1932. At that particular conference, Dr. Ernst Rudin and Henry Fairchild Osborn were unanimously elected President and Vice-President respectively. Part of the opening speech by Mr. Osborn of the USA at the conference worthy of recalling is, "I have reached the opinion that overpopulation and underemployment are twin sisters. From this point of view, I even find that the United States is overpopulated at the present time. In nature the less fitted individuals would gradually disappear, but in civilization, we are keeping them in the community in the hope that in brighter days they may find employment. This is only another instance of human civilization going directly against the order of nature and encouraging the survival of the un-fittest." Two years after canvasing for the abrogation of survival of the un-fittest, Henry Fairchild Osborn of the USA was awarded the Goethe Medal in 1934 by Adolf Hitler!!! In 1935, Eugenics Records Office hosted a conference on world population in Berlin, Germany. The keynote speaker was Germany's Interior Minister, Wilhelm Frick. An American delegate, Dr. Clearance G. Campbell, addressed the conference in a romantic tone towards Hitler's Germany. Part of Dr. Campbell's address was, "The leader of the German nation, Adolf Hitler, ably supported by Dr. Frick and guided by Germany's anthropologists and social philosophers, has been able to construct a comprehensive policy of population development that promises to be epochal in racial history. It sets a pattern which other nations and other racial groups must follow if they do not wish to fall behind in racial quality, in their racial accomplishments and in their prospects for survival." It is noteworthy that at the time that Dr. Clearance G. Campbell was speaking in Berlin, Germany, in 1935, Hitler's law for the protection of German blood and honour based on a model developed at Cold Spring Harbour, USA in 1921, was in full operation, especially, against the Jews in Germany. From historical perspective, there is no difference between Hitler's Germany, Britain, and France when it comes to the deployment of racism to advance national economic interest. Leonard Woolf described that racist politics well in his 1920 book thus, "There is a natural desire among Britons, Frenchmen, and Germans to increase the number of Britons, Frenchmen, and Germans respectively in the world, and perhaps to decrease the number of non-Britons, non-Frenchmen, and non-Germans respectively. This desire is partly sentimental, and partly founded upon the belief of all nations that their citizens are the salt and others the scum of the earth. The tendency to desire a high birth rate and a low death-rate within one's own State, and a low birth-rate and high death-rate in other States, is also connected with power (p.28, Empire And Commerce in Africa - A Study in Economic Imperialism)." Leonard Woolf did not mention the US because it is an extension of Europe, especially Britain that accomplished the annihilation of American aborigins to plant mostly Britons and other Europeans there. In spite of emancipation ratified in the US law in 1865, Negroes (present day African Americans) have continued to, and still today continue, to suffer all kinds of racial indignities in the US. Strange as it were, the open racial animosities and attacks against the Negroes (African Americans) in the US because of the colour of their skin which they share with their ancestors in Africa, have never scared Africans in the home continent from loving the US, seeking to be educated and employed there. To Nigerians in particular, President Donald Trump said that they live in huts and whenever they visit US, they never want to return to their huts.
At the beginning of 1930s the US had decided to be imperialistic and in order to achieve that objective, the US that was busy lynching African Americans and persecuting them under Jim Crow laws allowed some Africans from the home continent to be admitted as students in the US universities. The African Students were later returned to Africa as anti-colonialists as spoon-fed by the US. The African students in the US in the 1930s did not see, or rather closed their eyes to the persecution of their black brethren under Jim Crow laws just as today's African intellectual immigrants in the US do not care about Black Lives Matter movements in the US. Although African intellectual immigrants always blame African Americans for behaving in ways that make the White majority to discriminate and persecute them, they fail to see instances where Black Americans were subjected to indignity even when they excel positively. For instance, a year before the first Nigerian graduate from American university returned to Africa in 1937, the Berlin Olympic Games took place in Germany, in 1936. As it turned out, Jesse Owens, an African American, whose real name was John Cleveland Owens, won four gold medals in athletics for the USA. During medal award ceremonies, Adolf Hitler refused to shake hands with him because of the colour of his skin being black. Neither the Olympic Committee nor the US government protested against Hitler's misbehaviour against Jesse Owens. When Jesse Owens returned to the USA after the game, he met signboards at public restaurants and toilets forbidding negroes and dogs to enter. Whether Nigerian graduate returnee from America saw those segregated public toilets and restaurants with the signposts, dogs and negroes not allowed or whether he experienced the discrimination personally was not clear, but he personally agreed with the US authorities to help recruit more Nigerians to study in the USA where African Americans were prevented from being educated. Just in 1938, when 12 Nigerians were recruited to depart to the US as students, Joe Louis, the African American whose real name was Joseph Louis Barrow, was on 22 June 1938 engaged in World Heavyweight Boxing Championship with the Aryan German race, Max Schmeling. It took Joe Louis two minutes and four seconds of the first round of the scheduled 15 rounds to knockout Max Schmeling technically. Immediately after the fight, Max Schmeling was admitted into a Polyclinic Hospital where he stayed for ten days after it was discovered that Joe Louis punches had cracked several vertebrae of Schmeling. In the racist American world, the White controlled US media could not just accept that a Black American and a so-named Negro knocked out a White Aryan German, Max Schmeling. Commenting on the outcome of the boxing match, Lewis F. Atchison of the Washington Post wrote, "Joe Louis, the lethargic, chicken-eating coloured boy reverted to his dreaded role of the brown bomber tonight;" Henry McLemore of the United Press called Joe Louis, "a jungle man, completely primitive as any savage, out to destroy things he hates." The then 24-year-old Joe Louis, born and bred in the USA was demeaned as a coloured boy by the colourless (since white is implied not to be a colour as black is) Atchison, while Henry McLemore reduced Joe Louis to a jungle man, completely primitive and savage for knocking out a civilised urban Whiteman in a boxing contest. To the White media, Joe Louis was not an American but a jungle man from Africa that knocked out Max Schmeling of Germany and in their racist world they would have preferred Joe Louis to be knocked out by a white man. Normally, if African Americans are being persecuted because of the colour of their skin which they share with their ancestors in Africa, then Africans should be suspicious of the US when she comes to Africa to help educate us and develop our economy. While George Wallace was actively preventing Black American Students from entering University of Mississippi in early 1960s, schools in Africa were flooded with the US Peace Corps Teachers. That African leaders never reflected on the contradictory behaviour of the US in persecuting African Americans because of the colour of their skin and coming to love Black Africans is a mystery. Perhaps the most mysterious and abnormal is that the US, Britain and France, supported racial discrimination and persecution of Black Africans by the then South African White minority government and the Portuguese colonialist in Africa yet Black leaders in Africa remained loyal to Western Leaders in politics, trade and commerce. Let's look at some examples of how the US, Britain and France actively supported the reign of political and economic apartheid against Africans in Africa.
On 24 January 1979, United Nations General Assembly in resolution Nr. 33/183 (M) voted to end all military and nuclear collaboration with apartheid South Africa. 114 countries voted for the resolution while three countries, US, France and UK voted against it.
On 12 December 1979, the United Nations General Assembly in resolution Nr. 34/93 (D) voted to strengthen arms embargo against South Africa. 132 countries voted in favour of the resolution while 3 countries (US, UK and France) voted against. On the same day, the UN General Assembly in resolution Nr. 34/93 (I) voted for assistance to the oppressed people of South Africa and their liberation movements. 134 countries voted for the resolution while 3 countries (US, UK, France) voted against it. On 16 December 1980, the UN General Assembly in resolution Nr. 35/206 (J) voted for assistance to the oppressed people of South Africa and their national liberation movement. 137 countries voted for the resolution which was opposed by 3 countries (US, UK, France). On 28 October 1981, UN General Assembly in its resolution Nr. 36/12 titled Anti-racism that condemned apartheid in South Africa and Namibia. The resolution was carried by 145 in favour and 1 (US) against. On the same day, the UNGA in resolution Nr. 36/13 condemned collaboration of certain States and transnational corporations with the South African government. 124 countries voted for the resolution while one (US) was against. On 9 November 1981, the UNGA in resolution Nr. 36/19 voted on the right of every state to choose its economic and social system in accord with the will of its people without outside interference in whatever form it takes. 126 countries voted for the resolution against one US vote. On December 1, 1981, the UNGA in resolution Nr. 36/68 voted to condemn activities of foreign economic interests in colonial territories with 133 countries for the resolution and 3 countries (US, UK, and Guatemala) against. On 17 December 1981, UNGA in resolution 36/172 (C) voted to condemn aggression by South Africa against Angola and other African States by 136 countries for the resolution and one US against it. On the same day, UNGA in resolution Nr. 36/172 voted by 126 votes against 2 (US,& UK) to encourage various international actions against South Africa. Still on 17 December 1981, UNGA in resolution Nr. 36/172(N) voted by 139 in favour and one (US) against support of sanctions and other measures against South Africa. Lastly, on 17 December 1981, UNGA in resolution Nr. 36/172(O) calling for cessation of further foreign investments and loans for South Africa was adopted with 138 votes for and one US against. On 13 December 1984, UNGA in resolution Nr. 39/72(G) calling for International action to eliminate apartheid was adopted with 146 votes for and two (US & UK) against. This was not a surprise as both the US, UK and France supported the massacre of Black South Africans in Sharpeville, southern Transvaal, South Africa, on 21 March 1960 whereby 69 people were killed and 180 injured. South Africa's political and economic apartheid against the Black race was in tandem with the US led Western world which at all times has declared the Black race inferior and only good to exist to serve the interest of the Whites.
The headline of the South African Sunday Times of 18 August 1985 was, I AM NOT ASHAMED BEING RACIST - PIETER WILLEM BOTHA. David G. Mailu was reporting on President Botha's speech to his cabinet. Excerpts from the reported speech of the then South Africa's President, Pieter Willem Botha is hereby worth reproducing, "Pretoria has been made by the White mind for the White man. We are not obliged even the least to try to prove to anybody and to the Blacks that we are superior people. …//… The Republic of South Africa that we know of today has not been created by wishful thinking. We have created it at the expense of intelligence, sweat, and blood. Are they the Afrikaners who discriminate against Blacks and call them Niggers in the (United) States? Were they Afrikaners who tried to eliminate the Australian Aborigines? Were they Afrikaners who started the slave trade? …/… Why in the hell then is so much noise made about us? Why are they biased against us? I am simply trying to prove to you all that there is nothing unusual we are doing that the so-called civilized worlds are not doing. We are simply an honest people who have come out aloud with a clear philosophy of how we want to live our own White life.
We do not pretend like other Whites that we like Blacks. The fact that Blacks look like human beings and act like human beings do not necessarily make them sensible human beings. Hedgehogs are not porcupines and lizards are not crocodiles simply because they look alike. If God wanted us to be equal to the Blacks, he would have created us all of a uniform colour and intellect but, he created us differently: Whites, Blacks, Yellow, Rulers and the ruled. Intellectually, we are superior to the Blacks ; that has been proven beyond any reasonable doubt over the years. …//… Nevertheless, it is comforting to know that behind the scenes, Europe, America (US), Canada, Australia and all others are behind us in spite of what they say. …//… To prove my point, Comrades, does anyone of you know a White country without an investment or interest in South Africa? Who buys our gold? Who buys our diamonds? Who trades with us? Who is helping us develop our nuclear weapon? The very true is that we are their people and they are our people. It's a big secret. The strength of our economy is backed by America (US) Britain and Germany. It is our conviction, therefore, that the Black is the raw material for the Whiteman. …//… Let us all accept that the Blackman is the symbol of poverty, mental inferiority, laziness and emotional incompetence. Isn't it plausible, therefore, that the Whiteman is created to rule the Blackman?" It is noteworthy that what Botha called Afrikaners are the Boers whose descendants are Dutch or Huguenot colonists in South Africa. The Dutch/Flemish language spoken in Holland, from where the Boers emigrated, is called Afrikaans in South Africa. African political and intellectual elites heard/read what President Pieter Willem Botha said about the Blackman in 1985 but they all clenched their fists inside their pockets pretending to be fighting racists and their supporters in Africa.
About two and a half year after Botha's speech, the South African troops, encouraged by the US and their Western allies because they regarded the MPLA government of Angola as being too radical, invaded Angola militarily in 1987. As usual, African leaders and their hoards of intellectuals could only bark harmlessly from their posts where they were tethered in chains by their Western masters against South Africa's military invasion of Angola. The government of Angola was forced to request for help from Cuba to dislodge South African soldiers from her territory. Cuban troops arrived in Angola and at a decisive battle in Cuito Cuanavale led by General Leopoldo Cintas Frias, the South African Forces were defeated and their remnants were pursued to the border of Namibia. (South West Africa). The defeat of the South Africa's forces by Cuba at Cuito Cuanaville resulted in the Peace Accords for the independence of Namibia which was signed at the United Nations headquarters in December 1988 by South Africa, Angola, Cuba and United States of America. With Namibia's independence the days of South Africa's racist regime were numbered.
At 16:16:00 hours on 11 February 1990, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was hurriedly bundled out of prison. Four years later, 1994, he was installed the President of South Africa, to mark the end of political apartheid while retaining economic apartheid as it were in other black African nations. A year earlier, 1993, Nelson R. Mandela had shared Nobel Peace Prize with his former traducer, Frederik Willem de Klerk. Despite the Nobel Peace Prize, it was not until Thursday, 8 May 2008, that the US House of Reps adopted a Bill proposing to take Nelson R. Mandela and the African National Congress (ANC) off a US terror black (white) list. The House of Reps Democrat who was the Chairman of foreign affairs committee, Howard Bergman, introducing the Bill said, "This long-overdue Bill is the direct result of a stunning and frankly embarrassing story for the United States. …. Congress has never resolved the inconsistency in our immigration code that treats many of those who actively opposed apartheid (racism) in South Africa as terrorists and criminals." Consequently, Mandela and other members of ANC who had been on the list of US terrorists since 1948, because of their resistance against a white minority fascist and racist South African regime, were on June2, 2008 removed from the list of US terrorists. That happened about ten years after Mandela had served a four-year tenure as President of South Africa (1994-1998) and after he had voluntarily relinquished power to a successor. The US action in removing Mandela and other ANC members from its list of terrorists on 2 June 2008, implied that Mandela and his party, ANC, were not only terrorists during his four years tenure as President but ten years after leaving office democratically. We just have to recall that the US together with the UK voted against the United Nations General Assembly resolution Nr. 39/72 (G) of 13 December 1984 calling for international action to eliminate apartheid. So, it was not a question of inconsistency in the US immigration code as Mr Berman wanted to make it look. The truth about why the US waited so long to remove Mandela and other ANC members from their list of terrorists was to see if the Black majority government in South Africa would demolish economic apartheid or not. The apartheid economic policy in South Africa was not only kept intact but the Truth and Reconciliation Commission was set up to forgive and forget crimes perpetrated by the fascist controlled government of apartheid South Africa. On June 9 and 10, 1998, a Director at South Africa Roodeplaat Research Laboratory, Dr. Schalk Jansen van Rensburg, gave evidence at the Truth and Reconciliation Commission about the military run laboratory that had developed lethal toxins for use against the Blacks. The laboratory manufactured cholera organisms, anthrax to be deposited on the gummed flaps of envelopes and in cigarettes and walking sticks that fired fatal darts that would feel like a bee sting. Dr. Van Rensburg told the Commission that the head of the laboratory, Dr. Wouter Basson, had ordered him to develop a vaccine that would make Blacks infertile. The 1998 revelations by Dr. Schalk Jansen van Rensburg should not surprise anyone who had read Pieter Willem Botha's speech to his Cabinet as reported by David G. Mailu in the South African Sunday Times of 18 August 1985. Parts of the speech read, "I wish to announce a number of strategies that should be put to use to destroy this Black bug, We should now make use of the chemical weapon. Priority number one, we should not by all means allow any more increases of the Black population, lest we will be choked very soon. I have exiting news that our scientists have come up with an efficient stuff. I am sending out more researchers to the field to identify as many venues as possible where chemical weapons could be employed to combat any further population increases. The hospital is a very strategic opening, for example, and should be fully utilized. The food supply channel should be used. We have developed excellent slow killing poisons and fertility destroyers." What the Nazis did at Auschwitz that warranted Nuremberg trials was a child play compared with what the fascist apartheid regime in South Africa did but it all ended up in Black victims forgiving the White culprits. As said earlier, South Africa joined the rest of African countries where leaders are mere overseers of the economic apartheid being operated in the continent on behalf of the US led Western World.
