SADLY, IN POLITICS, THE END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS IN THE STRUGGLE FOR POWER. VIRTUALLY ALL POLITICOS APPLY THIS STRATEGY IN THEIR QUEST TO SUCCEED IN ELECTORAL CONTESTATIONS OR STAY IN POWER.  I CONCUR WITH BROTHER TOYIN PROGRESSIVES SHOULD CONDEMN RIOTS  AND RIOTERS VOCIFEROUSLY. OVERALL, "MOST" RIOTERS AND ICONOCLASTS DON'T VOTE.

If the riots continue and there are widespread cases of violence and death, expect a shift to his side by almost 5%, which is significant. Progressives can endorse protest but not riots. Historically, the American society makes a distinction between both. If more riots continue, those in the suburbs will think that Trump and the police will give them protection and work to retain him in the White House.
