You are a great liar !
You got everything wrong .
Dangote started business under his late uncle Amaka Usman Dantata who was shot in Lagos around 1984 by some unknown assailants . Amaka was put in a vegetative state for over 25 years before he eventually died less than 10 years ago .
Dangote is by far closer to Obasanjo than Buhari . Some Igbo, Yoruba etc businessmen are also close to Obasanjo .
MTN & co paid $285million but Mike Adenuga paid $200million about 3 years after MTN & co were licensed . If Adenuga had started telecom business at same time with MTN, the market share of tge MTN can't be as big as it is now . MTN generates 1.2trillion Naira ( over $3billion ) sales a year in a poor country like Nigeria .
Removal of subsidy from petrol is regrettably necessary and unavoidable. Nigeria doesn't have enough money to run the government and the subsidy regime consumes a large chunk of our resources . Above all, the the World Bank & IMF have for long been putting a lot of pressures on our government to free the economy .
Let's stop spreading falsehood & ignorance in Jesus name .

VM,
I'm not too sure about your location but in any case, how much do people pay per litre around the US, UK, Europe etc...
Nigerians need to start to understand that they need to pay for goods and services at the market rate. Good enough, if a country wants to use it's natural resources as a competitive advantage in production by subsidising the natural resource, but it has to be for production and not for pure consumption.
Same thing goes for electricity, the present rate of Kw/hr is too low and renders the energy sector in Nigeria not investment friendly for investors. So, Ogun state governor was quite right.
If Nigerians want the country to move on, Nigerians will have to pay the price. There is no free lunch!

THERE IS NO DANGOTE WITHOUT NIGERIAN GOVT
The military [ Gowan] created Dagote after the war
Obasanjo tried to create Femi Odutala with Petroleum
Obasajo tried to create Globalcam.. HE GAVE GLOBACOM LINCENSE FOR ONLY $200million while MTN paid $1billion plus...
........but the stupid guy sold part of it to Babangida and cronies
Obasanjo created BiCourtney to take over Nigerian airports. They built MM2 and Lagos -ibadan highway
Obasanjo created Abiola into a Huge Monster to take on Awolowo...he did and sent him dead
Obasanjo tried for Yorubas but they did not understand the game
Dangote killed Nigerian Railway system
After the war, he got he sole military contract to transport oil all over Nigeria
*/\ * He made sure no rial lines involved especially from East to North
He killed off truckers from the west including Panelpina
He got into feeding Nigerians by monopoly of Rice and Sugar
He dug in on Cement
ALL MONOPOLY
He cannot compete without MONOPOLY
He is only in African countries that granted him monopoly
He went in there and shut their mines down and imported from China and Yugoslavia are rebadged
Other Cement companies in Nigeria are limited in quantity they can import. That was why he got Obasanjo to kill Ibeto Cement for going over quota.
He makes sure that every nigeria that builds pays him
He is out of South Africa
Ghana has rescinded his monopoly
He bought PH & Warri refineries for $200million from Obasanjo but YaraDua rescinded that too
Now Nigeria Govt in building that refinery in Lagos for him
He gets Foreign exchange at $1=N222
Then Petrol will be N300 for 1 liter
It is important to note that Dangote employs 40,000 chinese in Nigeria
They are in his agricultural farms and Truck factory in Kano
These Guys are Money people for Presidents of Nigeria
They are not there for Nigerian
Dangote built Obasanjo Library
Dangote wanted to bid for 2nd Niger Bridge
Dangote bid for Lagos roads reconstruction while trying to sell his cements to state governments
So in nigeria..If you drive + Eat + Build...You MUST pay Dangote
No industry will grow in Nigeria unless Dangote says so
His main aim with the refinery is Chemicals
Every thing in Nigeria will depend on Dangote. He will shut importation of what is left of it

The greatest destruction a man can do to himself is to put wrong people in positions of authority.
Can somebody tell Ogun state governor and all other clueless leaders (who say that price is increased to attract investors) that Price is not a factor of production.
It is unfortunate and unacceptable for people who enjoy free perquisites of office now becoming the people to increase prices and cause severe pains to the livelihoods of poor masses of Nigeria.
For the records, let me educate this governor and all those in government that what attracts investments to a location are mainly, Security of investible funds, strong institutions such as the judiciary for justice, ease of doing business, personal security, currency stability & reliability, sincerity of government and policy stability.
It is only a very bad government that seeks to cause pains to the people while believing this to be a cure for its inefficiency and untamed corruption.
A good government will deregulate the source of supply. Why should a government control the supply of petroleum products and monopolize it with all their stealings, corruption and inefficiencies and pass same to consumers to pay in high prices. Why should poor Nigerians be made to pay for monies stolen by government officials in NNPC and other high places?
Government should remove every form of licencing and bureaucratic controls from the supply side of petroleum products so that anyone who is able to can bring in the products to sell at his own price. The only role of government will be to monitor quality and standards. It is competition that stabilizes products prices. It is not government monopoly plus unreasonable prices increases that gives consumers value for their money.
*But increasing prices to protect Dangote refinery and corruption at NNPC is criminal against the people of Nigeria.*
This is Unacceptable.

A former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has said Nigerians should expect more hardships from President Muhammadu Buhari's government.
Reacting to the increase in pump price of premium motor spirit (PMS) otherwise known as petrol to N162 per litre with effect from September 2, 2020, Fani-Kayode in a post on his social media handles said he predicted that Nigerians will be worse off if the All Progressives Congress (APC) was elected in 2015.
He also said that he warned Nigerians in 2015 but they rejected the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former President Goodluck Jonathan.
