The personal opinion of the British parliamentarian(on floor of Parliament)about Gowon stealing half of the money in Nigeria's Central Bank, is not enough evidence to conclude but enough to launch further investigations. Gowon's supporters defence that he (Gowon) was attending OAU meeting in Addis Ababa when he was removed from office does not hold water.
