USA Africa Dialogue Series - SW Nigerian Politicians of the Tinubu School: Fools or Creative Diplomats Within a Boiling Kettle?

You gave an order, fully within your rights, for the protection of your people as governor of a state.

Your fellow governors, with those from your region speaking loudest, eventually declared you never gave that order.

You were only asking the people involved to register with the govt, they said.

You can fool some of the people some of the time. You can fool all of the people some of the time. But you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.

I am grimly pleased to observe the esclation of Nigerians' responses to terrorism by ethnic supremacist, right wing Fulani, using Fulani herdsmen and their militia as foot soldiers in a coordinated internal colonisation campaign working through the tripod of Buhari and his govt as the political wing, Miyetti Allah as the civil society pressure group and Fulani herdsmen and their militia as the military wing.

Yesterday, Nnamdi Kanu from the East stood up against these vampires.

He was almost killed while some in the SW cheered.

Today it is Sunday Igboho from the SW.

The Eastern governors were unequivocal in branding Kanu's peaceful IPOB a terrorist organization even as Fulani herdsmen militia, recognised by international terrorist watch agencies as one of the deadliest in the world, clearly the only one with a national scope, thereby surpassing even Boko Haram, is not even recognised to exist by Nigeria's central govt, led by right wing Fulani, talk less being branded a terrorist organization.

Now a SW governor, a member of Buhari's political party and therefore of the Tinubu led SW wing of the party, discovered his balls after years of suffering and the Nigerian political elite are pretending nothing happened even as SW traditional leaders are crying out about the siege of their land by Fulani herdsmen terrorism.

The other day, it was the unprecedented ENDSARS protests for creative transformation  of Nigerian government which the same political class supressed through murder of peaceful protesters.

Is the boiling water in the kettle beginning to overflow?
