Professor Gyandoh, who returned to Ghana from the U.S. not long ago, reportedly died in his leep(of natural causes). Several of his Ghana and U.S.-based former Law students as well as familymembers, friends, and professional colleagues are mourning his sudden death. Professor PhilipC. Aka, the former Dean of the Law Faculty at the International University of Sarajevo (locatedin Bosnia and Herzegovina) was a student of Emeritus Professor Gyandoh at the BeasleySchool of Law at Temple University. He described Emeritus Professor Gyandoh as a brilliantlegal mind, adding: "He deserves his rest, as he did his best for the legal profession throughhis exemplary teaching. May he rest in peace.."Fordham University Law School's retired Adjunct Law Professor Victor Kwesi Essien, a formerstudent of the deceased Law don, also lamented his death. Dr. Essien, the current Rector andProfessor of Law at Nyansapo College (an affiliated college of Cape Coast University, Ghana),recalled his brilliance in Law, adding that he was also "a decent human being".
