In the early 1980s when the intellectual wing of the roguish administration of Shehu Shagari had a brainwave and came up with "Ethical Revolution", Wole Soyinka wrote a critique in Nigerian Pidgin English in the form of a musical drama entitled "Etiki Revo Wetin?"
Although, I didn't get to watch the musical drama, but I followed all the reviews in the press.
These reviews helped me to make up my mind to be an activist creative writer.
I also resolved that one day, I will write in Nigerian Pidgin English.
