It is not impossible. I however talked about the optics of "a five star lifestyle" being a discouraging factor(mobilization wise) in the struggle to liberate people in abject poverty.

The liberator may not be in abject poverty, but "a five star lifestyle" would mean a disconnect.

Your argument prompted a thought about the relationship between the philosophes in 18th century  France--Voltaire, Diderot, Rousseau, etc.-- and the masses that finally stormed the Bastille to kickstart  the French Revolution.

Should there be a necessary disconnect between a freedom fighter and her lifestyle? Is there a necessary connection  between liberatory project and poverty?
