This is a good start. It should be the beginning of African intellectuals taking moral positions in current and destructive African conflicts. That is pan-African moralism!

Please see this call, from over 55 of Africa's most well-known intellectuals, for a non-military solution for the Ethiopian civil war. Signatories include Souleymane Bachir Diagne, Achilles Mbembe, Francois Verges, Ato Seyki-Otu amongst others.
