SIR Toyin:
Again, congratulations on that massive tome on Nigeria published by Cambridge University Press. The successful launching of the book at Ibadan, coupled with the issued eloquent communique, will stand the test of time among legacies and, in the end, be historically remembered. However, the axiomatic cover of the tome is of a great importance: depicting that one person cannot carry Nigeria's problems on his/her shoulders!
Be assured, SIR Toyin, that an Oxford-educated eminent scholar has already completed a thorough and very impressive review of Understanding Modern Nigeria for publication in a forthcoming issue of our own Journal of African and Asian Studies, which is published in Leiden, The Netherlands, by Brill Academic Press.
Accept our Laudation and additional Congratulations!
Sincerely,
A.B. Assensoh.
