justice as a necessary end can produce a worst
case of social injustice."

Can you please give a rational, secular

I'm left thinking that this leadership election process has flaws. It seems to me that important selections are made with zero input from non-MPs, while I'm also suspicious as to what's happening with the arithmetic, and the influence created by individual MP's ambitions for climbing aboard a band-wagon, rather than the longer-term electoral chances for the party. unherd.com |

a tenacious and unreflective pursuit of social justice as a necessary end can produce a worst case of social injustice
Master, you sowed good seed in your field, didn't you? Then where did these weeds come from?' . . . . "The servants asked him, 'Do you want us to go and pull them out?' "He said, 'No! If you pull out the weeds, you might pull out the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest." [Jesus of Nazareth, Holy Bible, Matt 13:27-30]
