youths  Are  Asking  for jobs: from south Africa to Sudan to Spain to Saudi Arabia. its youth Hungry for Jobs. In Nigeria the youths need to  organise themselves to make the necessary demands on their elected representatives  and try and recall those who refuse to play ball.

Nigeria  urgently needs to fix Electricity so that Manufacturing can thrive and as such put a break on unbridled importation. Government and private sector also need to increase the budgets on Science and technology  Research.

For Government it should be about 5 per cent of GDP not 0,02 per cent as it currently stands.  Nigeria is bleeding . A lot  of jobs can be created in Agriculture  if waste and importation are drastically reduced Below are some disturbing facts:

• Nigeria spent 2 trillion Naira importing clothing in 2017- Fashion designers Association
• Nigeria wastes 16  billion   naira  (8 million tonnes)worth of Cashew every Year – Audu Ogbe minister of Agriculture
• Nigeria loses  4 trillion  naira every year derivable from cabotage law. Olisa Agbakoba, SAN. Maritime lawyer
• Nigeria loses 1.3 trillion Naira annually to Agricultural waste that can be prevented by gamma ray facility in  Sheda science an technology complex  in  Abuja – Dr. Abdul   Tafawa    Balewa , Radio Chemist  and Politician
• Nigeria loses  4 billion  dollars  every year to Tourism underdevelopment and  under promotion- Tourism Association of  Nigerian
• Nigeria imports 300 million dollar worth of Tomatoes Yearly – Tomatoe Farmers of Nigeria

Top Nigeria Imports 2018

• Mineral fuels including oil: US$10.8 billion (29.7% of total imports)
• Machinery including computers: $5.2 billion (14.2%)
• Ships, boats: $3.4 billion (9.4%)
• Vehicles: $2.2 billion (6.1%)
• Electrical machinery, equipment: $2.1 billion (5.6%)
• Plastics, plastic articles: $1.4 billion (3.8%)
• Cereals: $1.2 billion (3.3%)
• Fish: $686.5 million (1.9%)
• Articles of iron or steel: $681.9 million (1.9%)
