Dear Ma:
You can obtain a visa on arrival. There is a form you have to fill, and a local person can pay the service charge. Call me, and I will give you some contacts.

Subject: USA Africa Dialogue Series - Urgent Advice Needed: How to Get a Visa for NigeriaI am looking for guidance on how one applies for a visa to Nigeria.
The Dean of our college, a US citizen, is scheduled to travel to Nigeria next week to explore collaborative partnerships with our university and UNILAG and UI. He has received his invitation letters from both universities. He went to the embassy website ( https://nigeriaembassyusa.org/) submitted an application and paid $160 for the visa about two weeks ago. The website then directed him to schedule a physical appointment with Online Integrated Solutions (OIS) to complete the visa application process. His appointment with OIS (Los Angeles office) was scheduled for today, March 13.
When he got to the OIS office this morning for his appointment (5757 W. Century Boulevard, Suite 718, Los Angeles, CA), he was told him that it will take another 4 weeks to process his visa. He inquired about doing a "Visa on Arrival" since he is scheduled to depart this weekend and was told that Nigeria does not have that option. Alternatively, the guy at OIS told him that he can arrange a "rush service" which would cost him another $460, and that this does not include the $160 that he has already paid to the embassy online (and which is also non-refundable).
Is this the correct process? Please advise!
Regards,
Sylvia
