There is no doubt that fear of being accused of sexual harassment is very real, now. The conclusion about some individual stating she isn't being approached because of that should be taken with a grain of salt.

Is it true that the fear of sexual harassment laws in the US is so strong people have become frightened of interacting with each other so as not to enter into trouble, leading to widespread loneliness?
A US academic mentioned in conversation that a female student cried out to him that no man has even approached her to show interest in her.
