Letter to the Organised private sector of nigeria.
Please stop this cry baby stuff over taxation. Take less and less of your problems to the presidency and more and more to our tertiary institutions. OPS up up Your game!.A ki se omode mo.What can you do or what have you done with 9000 professors,60,000 lecturers 300.000 post graduates in nigeria.can you be serious?.HAve you heard of Bell Resesrch laboratories or Motorola laboratories or PARC Xerox? Up your game. you know All these from MBA classes .Dear OPS you have done assembly plants, import substitution and we are now claiming to do manufacturing. If we are Serious we would stop blaming government and turn to Research, development and innovation where are the private research labs where is the collaboration with tertiary institutions.?What we have is a sandwich economy or sandwich private sector because of the low level of innovation. To improve on innovation you perhaps Need higher education for higher levels of innovation like fighter jets and not sandwiches then you can charge premium. We have done enough of expensive birthdays, burials and Bethrotal's and even magnificent large mansions now is the time for Research, development and innovation not lamentation over tax. Tax is good!
