You attended a very very good secondary school.saint Gregory's college obalende. Lagos has a reputation. Saint Gregorys college, obalende, lagos.
All the gregorians i know or have met have good reading habits and so I want to recommend to you and your research Team towards ramping up creativity, productivity and entrenching diversity and inclusivity.
Three important books by Professor Jamaine Abidogun i.ndependent scholar and emeritus
1africa science educatiion: gendering indigenous knowledge in nigeria.
Note Nigeria loses 25 bilion dollars every year because women are not properly located within the scheme of things.
2african education and indigenous knowledge
3 education ,creativity and economic empowerment in Africa.
Dear Mr Olayemi cardoso the people have to claim a national vision.
When usa Predident John f Kennedy visited a space station, he met a janitor and asked" what is your job here?" The janitor replied" I am helping to land a man on the moon!" That is the spirit! The people must claim the vision.
Governor of central bank you should also perhaps invite the philosophers to dinner. To help in out lining a national vision for leadership and governance.
I also want to believe you are deploying technology towards the vision like artificial intelligence, quantum computing, space technology, biotechnology, robotics, etc and using film, story telling empathy, history music, theatre, and sports to galvanise nigerians in the desired direction.
Your plan and projection of a growth of one trillion dollars in 8 years perhaps does not portray us as productive. we need to ramp up productivity in every sustainable way .
The GDP of usa i's 23.3 million for a population of 313 milion and of nigeria its not acceptable at 440 billion dollars!
Chicago with less than10 milion people, has a GDP of 707.7 billion dollars. We have to ramp up productivity in our top 20 cities. Or thereabout.
If you made a projection of 2.5 trillion dollars to 5 trillion, dollars then i would accept and understand.
Mr Governor of central bank new york city with 26 milion people has a GDP of 2.1 TRILLION DOLLARS. And of course there are tens of thousands of nigerians workaholics powering the newvyork City economy.we have what it takes!
